Our Confession of Faith

We believe that God has created all things. God's creative activity is present through all of cosmic history, continues to foster life in all of its forms and enables human reason and imagination. As beneficiaries of God's good and creative gifts, we believe that we have a profound responsibility to act as wise stewards of God's creation.

We believe that in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, God has come near to all people, freeing all people from the power of sin and death. We believe that through the Holy Scriptures and the Sacraments of Baptism and Holy Communion, God continues to invite us to join with one another and walk with Jesus the path of faith and new life.

We believe these things because the Holy Spirit calls us, gives us understanding, sets us apart, and nurtures us in faith, just as the Spirit does for the whole church on earth. We believe the Holy Spirit continues to gather us for a journey into the fullness of God's promise and purpose for our life together.
